Months of catastrophic bushfires in Australia have now burned more than 12 million acres, destroyed hundreds of homes, injured or killed millions of animals, and left two dozen people dead. Record-breaking temperatures and months of severe drought have fuelled a series of massive bushfires since September 2019, across Australia.
The bushfires in Australia are so big that they are generating their own weather, in the form of giant thunderstorms that start more fires. The heaviest structural damage occurred in New South Wales (NSW), which is the country’s most populated state. Let us all pray for Australia!
