Flight Lieutenant Shivani Singh set to become India’s first woman fighter pilot to fly the Rafale aircraft

Singh would be the first woman pilot of India to fly the Rafale combat aircraft. Shivani Singh, who hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi, was commissioned into the Indian Air Force in 2017 as part of the second batch of women fighter pilots. The Rafale aircraft was inducted into the IAF on September 10 at Ambala.
