World’s richest man Jeff Bezos completes his first human flight to space

India-born 30-year-old engineer Sanjal Gavande was part of the team that built space rocket for Bezos.

World’s richest man Jeff Bezos completes his first human flight to space: The flight was the world’s first unpiloted civilian space flight with an all-civilian crew. The four-person crew including Bezos flew aboard Blue Origin’s 60-foot-tall New Shepard spacecraft. The 10 minutes and 20 seconds ride took them above 100 km or the Kármán line. It was Blue Origin’s first human flight to space. The 57-year-old Bezos travelled with his brother Mark Bezos, 82-year-old aviator Wally Funk and 18-year-old paying tourist Oliver Daemen. The flight broke the record for the youngest person and the oldest person in space.
