World’s tallest giraffe finds place in Guinness World Records

A 12-year-old giraffe called Forest – a resident of Australia Zoo in Queensland – has been confirmed as the world’s tallest giraffe, standing at 18 feet 8 inches. The process of measuring its height was far from easy and the staff had to create a specially marked measuring pole. Giraffe is also the world’s tallest mammal.
